Boone’s Appalachian Mountain Brewery (AMB) will be teaming up with Beech Mountain Resort for collaboration beers, outdoor concerts and free rides up the mountain!

The first beer collaboration, Beech Bike IPA, is a nod to the scenic trails that attract visitors to Beech Mountain during those warm summer months. Brewed west coast-style with Centennial, Bravo and Citra hops, this 6.5% ABV IPA offers up a nice hop bite and light finish – perfect after a long ride in the mountains.

Part of this new partnership will include Beech Mountain’s 2019 Summer Concert Series, which kicked off on June 15 with the Grammy award winning bluegrass band, Steep Canyon Rangers. Other acts this summer include Galactic with The Get Right band on July 19 and moe. And The Mantras on August 24.

“Beech Mountain is a leader in the Southeast when it comes to outdoor recreation and giving back to their community,” said Danny Wilcox, AMB’s senior marketing manager. “We are honored to partner with them and bring people together over a shared love of the outdoors and great beer.”

Starting in July, mountain bikers are able to catch a free 45-minute shuttle ride to the resort from the brewery every Sunday through the end of the season. The shuttle can accommodate 10 riders and will depart from the brewery at 10:30 a.m.
